Thanks for the note and the call back. I am planning to be down in Avon for the (will fly down the night of the 12th) 13th through the 17th (depart in late afternoon) and expect I will be staying in the Lighthouse View Inn. If it turns out that you do not fill up your house, I may ask to sublet a room from you instead of staying at the motel. It may just be more fun to not be staying alone.

I have a group going down to Cape Hatteras May 16 to May 23. We have a 6 bedroom house in Avon.

I’ve got room for 1 or 2 more people. 5 of the 6 bedrooms are spoken for at this point

I am going down with 2 of my sons and my son-in-law (I am 60 and the kids(?) are late 20’s early 30’s). There are two additional people from Boston coming as well. The four of us are beginners in our second season. I can water start and stay upwind; the other three are close to water starting.

Cost to help out on the house will probably be under $300 depending on the final number of people coming. This does not include food. It does cover linens and final cleaning after we leave.

The house is booked. We are going

I plan on attending and have let Frank know.  I plan on flying down to Norfolk, VA and driving the rest of the way in a rental.  Please let me know if you are interested in sharing a ride so that we can coordinate timing.  The airfares for flights into Norfolk are around $150 right now so soon may not be a bad time to lock in the air travel piece of the trip.
